Setting up for the JAO luau...see you all tonight!! There are street closures near Nishi, the best route is to take the 101 south freeway and exit Alameda, left on E. Commercial and Rt N. Vignes to get to Nishi.

We are only 9 days away from JAO's Annual Hawaiian Luau! Come join us for some food (dinner catered by Kings Hawaiian), entertainment (Pumana featuring Lokelani's Rhythm of the Islands), and great company! *SAVE THE DATE* JAO presents "So you think you can Obon?" at LA Elementary School on Saturday, July 9 from 10am-12pm. We'll be teaching children how to dance obon and also make fans. Volunteers are needed to help...no experience necessary! To RSVP, please contact torinishinakaleon@gmail.com
